4-Day Trekking Mount Meru - JJ TRUST

Safari Itinerary:

Day 1: Arusha (1400m) – Miriakamba Hut (2500m)

On the first day, we'll depart from Arusha, which is situated at an altitude of 1400 meters. The journey begins by venturing into the stunning landscapes of Mount Meru. We'll hike through lush forests, encountering various flora and fauna along the way. Our destination for the day is Miriakamba Hut, located at an elevation of 2500 meters. This comfortable hut will serve as our base for the night, allowing us to rest and prepare for the following day's ascent.

Day 2: Miriakamba Hut (2500m) – Saddle Hut (3500m)

After a hearty breakfast at Miriakamba Hut, we continue our trek, ascending further towards the majestic peak of Mount Meru. Today's journey will lead us to the Saddle Hut, positioned at an elevation of 3500 meters. As we progress, the scenery changes, and we may encounter some alpine wildlife. The Saddle Hut offers stunning views of the surrounding landscapes and serves as our campsite for the night.

Day 3: Saddle Hut – Summit – Miriakamba Hut

The third day is the most challenging and rewarding part of the trek. We'll embark on an early morning hike towards the summit of Mount Meru, standing at an impressive height. As the sun rises, the panoramic vistas are awe-inspiring, providing a breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro and the surrounding plains. After basking in the beauty of the summit, we'll begin our descent back to Miriakamba Hut, where we'll spend the night.

Day 4: Miriakamba Hut (2500m) – Arusha (1400m)

On the final day of our adventure, we'll hike down from Miriakamba Hut back to Arusha, where our journey began. This downhill trek allows us to reflect on the incredible experience and marvel at the natural wonders we encountered during the past few days. Upon reaching Arusha, we'll bid farewell to the magical Mount Meru and conclude our memorable 3-day trekking expedition.
